I have spent over sixteen years in this industry as a DJ, and I release my own music as James iD. Every release I put out is backed by a Meta ad campaign I build and run myself, and this service is that same system applied to your music.

The campaigns are built around one idea: sending real, engaged listeners to your release so that Spotify's algorithm sees the signals it responds to, with the aim of triggering algorithmic placements such as Discover Weekly, Radio and Release Radar. Nobody can guarantee those placements, and anyone who promises them is lying to you. What you can do is stack the odds, and that is what this campaign is designed to do.

Everything runs through my ad account, my pixels and my targeting, so you do not need anything set up ahead of time. You send the music, I build the campaign.

Zero setup

All I need from you is your audio, artwork and Spotify link or ISRC code, plus any footage you have. The ad account, pixels and targeting are already in place on my side.

No false promises

No bought streams, no bots, no guaranteed placements. The campaign sends real listeners to your music and stacks the odds with the algorithm. The results are yours to verify in Spotify for Artists.

Transparent spend

The $350 covers the campaign build, creatives, strategy call and analysis. Your ad budget is separate (recommended $350 minimum to start) and is paid to me upfront alongside the fee, since the ads run through my account. Every part of it goes to Meta as ad spend, mapped out in a day-by-day plan so you always know where it goes.

FAQs

Where do the ads run?

On Meta platforms. Most campaigns run Instagram placements first, with Facebook included where it suits the brand, the music and the demographics of the audience.

Whose ad account is used?

Mine. The campaign runs through my trusted ad account with a well-seasoned pixel, built up through my own releases, so there is nothing for you to set up. If you would prefer the campaign built on your own account so you keep the data and learn the system, that is the done-with-you service above.

What do you need from me?

Your audio file, your artwork, your Spotify links and ISRC code, plus any relevant footage for the ad creatives. If you have footage, I will give you creative direction on the cuts. If you have nothing to film with, the AI-generated video creatives add-on covers it.

What about the ad budget?

Your ad spend is separate from the $350 fee, and I recommend a minimum of $350 in ad spend to start. Because the campaign runs through my ad account, you pay your ad budget to me upfront together with the fee, and I spend it on your behalf. Every part of it goes to Meta as ad spend, with no hidden margin taken, and I map it into a day-by-day plan so you can see exactly where it goes.

Can you guarantee Discover Weekly or Release Radar?

No, and neither can anyone else. Those placements are decided by Spotify's algorithm, and anyone selling a guarantee is lying to you. What this campaign does is give your release the best possible chance, feeding the algorithm the engaged-listener signals it responds to and stacking the odds in your favour.

How many streams will I get?

It would be dishonest to give you a number. Results depend on the song, the budget and how audiences respond, and the difference between a best-case and worst-case campaign is enormous. What I can promise is that every listener the campaign sends is a real person who chose to press play.

How long does a campaign run?

Most campaigns run between three and six weeks, though the length depends entirely on your ad budget, which we plan together before launch. The campaign is built and tested before your release, then runs through release and beyond, with 21 days of analysis and optimisation after release day.

How do I track results?

In your own Spotify for Artists, where you will see listeners, streams, saves and playlist adds as they come in. Alongside that, I send you a report I design from the Ads Manager data, so you can see how the ads are performing and where the budget is going.

How do I pay?

Through the secure Payhip checkout link on this page, or by PayPal if you prefer. Payment covers the $350 fee plus your agreed ad budget in one upfront amount. Once payment is in, I will be in touch within a day or two to collect your assets and book the strategy call.
